Overall Satisfaction with ScienceLogic SL1

They needed support to assist in an upgrade, which they were not very knowledgeable about. They did end up bricking one of the machines that then forced us to rebuild it. The senior engineers they have are extremely knowledgable though and once we finally got them on the call, problems were solved in minutes.
We use ScienceLogic SL1 as a ticketing system and monitoring system primarily. We use this application daily.

  • better visibility into infrastructure
  • allows for quick response to almost any problem
  • allows adjustable thresholds for alerts
  • integrates what could be several different applications into one
There haven't been any use cases I've seen that ScienceLogic SL1 has not been suitable to deal with a problem, however, their lack of support skills at times can be infuriating. Day to day, ScienceLogic SL1 is an extremely good and versatile application.
