Overall Satisfaction with SharpSpring

Currently, only the marketing automation department utilizes SharpSpring at our financial marketing firm. SharpSpring allows us to more effectively manage leads, campaign results, and email automation. It also allows us to implement lead scoring (which is beneficial to our sales representatives), form and landing page creation/result tracking, as well as more complex workflows that allow for programs and campaigns we didn't even know were possible.
  • The organization of SharpSpring is phenomenal. I can almost always find what I am looking for quickly and easily. The layout and look of it are more than satisfactory.
  • It is amazing to me how much you can actually do with SharpSpring. Not only can you track analytics from campaigns, site traffic, and emails, but you can also track website visitors in real time, effectively manage thousands of leads and campaigns, segment them by lists, and create complex tasks and workflows that allow for creative campaigns to be developed and implemented.
  • SharpSpring support is extraordinary. It is super easy to jump on the phone at any time and speak directly to a support technician who can usually answer your questions right away with no trouble.
  • SharpSpring could definitely improve some of their search functions, as well as sort and filter. It is sometimes difficult to understand what filters you are applying and to get back to where you were before them. Also, the Scheduled Events tab doesn't even have a search function, which is problematic at times.
  • It would also be beneficial if you were able to work in multiple instances at once. A lot of the time, we base campaigns or workflows for one client off another. Would it be possible to copy workflows not only within a single instance but across instances?
  • Being able to create folders within Campaigns or Forms on the left sidebar might be beneficial as well.
  • As a company, we have been able to gain over 2,000 trackable leads within a year and a half.
  • We have increased our ability to differentiate ourselves from competitors and show our value to potential clients.
  • We have increased sales by acquiring more and more marketing automation clients who continue to use our services by running more programs/campaigns and also ordering other non-MA products.
SharpSpring is great because the contract is monthly so you are not committed to an entire year right away. It is also less expensive than most other marketing automation software alternatives. CRM integration is a plus as we also use Salesforce and everything that gets entered in Salesforce is automatically updated/transferred to SharpSpring. The fact that you can manage contacts and leads right within the platform (and that it's free) is a big benefit to us.
SharpSpring is well suited for any business who utilizes email marketing. Not only that, but also any business that is looking to generate more leads through form completions, drip campaigns, and nurturing campaigns. This works well for marketing firms (ours works with financial and healthcare services), and I think it would be well suited for retail companies as well.
