Overall Satisfaction with SharpSpring

We use SharpSpring both for ourselves and for a handful of our marketing clients. We now use it for our standard email newsletter campaigns, but the big attraction to the platform was the automation features that allow us to easily segment recipients and trigger custom messages at precisely the right moment. Rather than sending one static message to all leads, we believe in sending targeted and personalized messages to make the most of our time and resources.
  • The triggers and workflows are intuitive and easy to configure. In a relatively short period, I was able to set up several targeted campaigns for my company and several of our clients.
  • SharpSpring makes on-boarding new clients very simple, with minimal work needed on the website back-end and in the DNS.
  • The company makes it easy to find answers to my questions. Different sections of the platform have Help sections tailored specifically to those tasks, and its support reps are responsive and well-versed.
  • While the company is constantly improving the platform, it can be buggy or slow sometimes when I am working on email drafts or templates. But a simple browser refresh usually takes care of the issue.
  • Though it isn't hard to set up an email "drip" campaign in SharpSpring, I see an opportunity to simplify the process. This could be as a step-by-step "Wizard" or in a new section of the platform.
  • I'm not aware of a way to get a better "global" look at performance in SharpSpring, but if there was a single place to see a daily or weekly summary for all clients, that would be useful.
  • For my company, we have already generated revenue by offering SharpSpring as a whitelabel service.
  • Email communications for ourselves and our clients have improved open rates and overall engagement because of the advanced segmentation we are able to perform.
  • While I spend more time than ever in the platform, the extra effort has created new opportunities for my company.
HubSpot had functionality, but it was cumbersome and frankly not fun to use. As a result, we essentially stopped using it and had to wait until our term with HubSpot expired. SharpSpring makes me feel empowered as a marketer, and it has seamlessly become a part of my daily routine.
If you're a marketing company looking to add a new service to your toolbox, if you want to organize your sales process, or if you want to make better use of a mid to large-sized email list, SharpSpring is great to have. But if you don't have the use for anything beyond a simple email service provider, the money may be better spent elsewhere.
