Overall Satisfaction with SingleStore

SingleStore is the primary Database we use in our org. It powers all our use cases which include insights , dashboards and journeys in our customer's pages. We use SingleStore to pretty much store everything and retrieve a huge volume of data in near real time without experiencing any downtime. It has an excellent interface which makes it much better tool than others
  • Ingest huge volume of data
  • Query and retrieve huge volume of data
  • Very highly reliable datastore
  • More compatibility with mysql's sql like query
  • better admin interface
  • it lowered operational complexity - we manage to use SingleStore with very minimal overhead from our side
  • the functionality provided by SingleStore helped us build many of our features in minimal time
  • because the datastore is very reliable and quick which made most of our features work within our expected SLA
compared to postgres , the time taken to ingest and retrieve data improved by more than 10x . The time taken to run our complex analytics queries too improved by a huge margin.
we use SingleStore as our primary database . We use both the column store and row store features to optimally distribute our data. The helped us in running our workloads optimally.

usage as document store is still very limited . Using SingleStore as a relational database is a breeze but using it as a document store to needs a lot of improvement.
