Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Data Platform
We are using the Veeam Data Platform to provide both bare metal and data backups for all of our mission critical servers. The business problems that are addressed for us is disaster recovery for our servers. Due to the nature of the industry we work in and provide services for, we cannot afford any lengthy amount of downtime rebuilding criticial infrastructure servers should anything happen to them. With the Veeam Data Platform, we are able to quickly restore servers as needed without overly long outages.

We have numerous servers that are currently being backed up by Veeam. As I was not involved with the initial rollout of the software for our servers, I cannot comment on if it was more or less than what was anticipated. It has definitely saved us a number of times already due to issues beyond anyone's control.
- Restored our data server without losing much data
- Quick and efficient
- Peace of mind
I was not involved with the original project to rollout Veeam to our servers for our company. I have only ever seen Veeam being used on our servers for backup and restore.
Our company currently does not have a big presence in the cloud space for internal needs. We are still relying heavily on localized hardware in our offices, however we are currently looking at ways to start migrating some of the functions technology wise to the cloud to better serve our people out in the field.
File share backups has been a major benefit to our company. With this, we were able to restore missing/deleted files back to its original location in no time at all and get the information to the users that are needing it for their customers.
