Overall Satisfaction with Whova

Whova was used to manage an online convention. The Kentucky Psychological Association holds a convention once a year. For the past two years, we have been doing the convention online. The convention is not a business, department, industry.

I am 64 years old. I did not grow up playing video games or chatting on a telephone. I use technology as little as possible because I don't care for so many programs that try to guess what I am doing and offer shortcuts. What technology I do use tends to be rather basic, linear. I don't like all the bells and whistles, the gimmicks, and the constant need to create new passwords. To that end, I found that I could use Whova with few mistakes but I did find the amount of information on any open page to be distracting, annoying. I didn't want or need all the convention game playing options like a contest to see who could message the most attendees to win a prize. [In my opinion] Seemed childish, and getting a reminder to hurry up and play was annoying. But it did a good job of having all the essential convention information in one place.
