Overall Satisfaction with Workfront

Workfront is used by our entire IT department and our marketing department. We use it for project management as well as document management. Request queues are heavily used. We track the condition of work for discussion in meetings. We use the Reporting dashboards in our meetings to effectively and precisely display tasks and work approvals. We also use timesheets extensively to track how much time is put into each individual's tasks.
  • Ease of assembling and tracking progress of projects and the tasks being completed under them.
  • Ability to easily communicate between team members.
  • Custom reports that are easy to assemble and display almost any information held in the Workfront system.
  • Simplicity of the time-off calendar. My company would find it useful to have a more feature filled time-off calendar. Especially the ability to add notes or types to specific days that are being taken off.
  • There is no easy way to bulk edit certain details for users. For instance, toggling SAML or SSO access.
  • There is a lack of response when submitting Workfront feature or product ideas. You get an automated thank you and never again hear from it again even though they are considered tickets.
  • Workfront has greatly helped us increase productivity. For example, developing a new website may have taken over a year. Using Workfront to lay out all the steps and tasks needed has brought that down to under 4 months.
  • There has also been a large impact on employee efficiency and productivity. Mostly due to the ability to track time for each task individually and the ability to speak with other employees within those tasks for clarity and efficiency.
  • Increased awareness of workload by managers and employees has helped better organize priorities and increase productivity.
Workfront is much more flexible, easier to manage, and feature rich. The user interface is modern in comparison to the most visited sites today. This makes it much easier for new people to jump right in to using the product.
Workfront's project management, organization, and time tracking features have dramatically increased productivity within our company. The way Workfront lets you use timesheets and track time to projects and tasks will improve productivity alone. Workfront is well suited at organizing a project to a point where each task can be prepared start to finish. This makes it much easier to estimate project completion times. There are not many scenarios where I see Workfront as less appropriate. Features are constantly being added and bugs fixed. If you need project, document, or time management then this software will be an enormous help.
