Amplitude Analytics

If you do not have an analytics tool, Amplitude is a best in class option that a sophisticated organization can use for free. They offer a large amount of support if you're looking to move to a paid plan. They release new features consistently and do a great job of educating users on those new features

Zoho SalesIQ

Very good at visitor tracking and strongly recommend it if you are using other Zoho products like CRM. If we weren't using CRM, I'm not sure if it would have the same appeal to us. The ability to monitor and interact with CRM contacts through their all their touch points with your site is excellent and very important. I find the notifications inconsistent and do sometimes miss chats.

  • Login expiry is frustrating....but I do understand the need for security. I find Zoho's approach frustrating sometimes...

Alternatives Considered

A lot of data can be tracked via manual tracking or linking to an excel sheet, but with such a huge amount of data, it is far easier to have all of it laid out in an easy to read format. The charts and graphs are easy to use and are really pretty user-friendly. The hardest part is in simply finding the event that you want to use.

We like Zoho SalesIQ better than the HubSpot live visitor tracking; it provides more information and is much more cost effective. I find Intercom.io to be a superior product and we use it on another one of our sites and actually have a noticeably higher interaction rate. However the integration with other Zoho products is a compelling aspect.

  • We interact with about 50 visitors a month and it's great when we can see the full picture, to see and interact based on whether they are a new contact or a long-time customer.
  • Capturing new website visitors at the time that they have a question about your product is important.
  • Missing chats can be frustrating.
