EZLynx in Texas offers their Agency Management System as a system for centralizing and managing customer information and automation for the daily workflow.
EZLynx seems to be well suited for any size insurance agency. The capabilities seem to be endless with the only caveat being the integrated homeowner rating system. EZLynx fits all the categories that a management system should fit for any size insurance agency. About the only scenario I can think of that EZLynx would not be appropriate would be doing the financial books for an agency, but than again, what agency management does.
Account Management - I like the way the system organizes the data for each account. It is easy to search and find any client we are looking for and then once within that record, it is easy to navigate to the necessary policy or screen.
Task Management - once everyone was trained and on the same page, the ability to move tasks within the system from one person to the next really helps with the "passing the baton" from one team member to another. The task will come right up on the initial screen so the user knows they have something new to do.
Reporting - the system drives the majority of the reporting we do as an agency and it is great when working within the system.
I have not necessarily used support from Applied Epic directly, but have gone to my trainer who has gone to support. I am usually able to get an answer relatively quickly, so I can assume the support team is very knowledgeable and prompt with their help.
Before EZLynx Agency Management, I would go into each carrier site to do the quotes. EZLynx Agency Management saves time, which saves money, by quoting all carriers at once.
Unfortunately, I can't tell yet on this as I've only had EZLynx for 4 months now but from what I can see is that I will be saving tons of man hours on processing commissions.
I'm able to get more intuitive reporting which is a huge plus for marketing.
The inept integrated homeowner rater is just so bad we've given up on it which means I've had to spend extra dollars on a homeowner rater.
