My experience in Asana is more than two years, and I really enjoyed the experience and working with my teams, as Asana provides effective communication between us and spread the fun, enthusiasm, and achievement in work faster, as I used conversations to inform the team what I want, follow up, comment on the tasks and inform them that the work is finished.

Traffic is suitable for most agencies, regardless of size. You don't need to use all of the features in order to get good results. And it can be linked to Maconomy which is useful for larger agencies. We have around 80 employees and it works great.
Read full review Pros Easy to use by any user (good UX and no installation needed) Easy to create a simple project, add tasks and sub tasks. Different display options, according to the project/tasks type Works great using a web browser, you don't have to install the application Read full review The time sheet area is really good - it's easy to drag and drop and fill in time sheets with allocated tasks quickly, which makes it more likely that people will actually do it! It's invaluable to be able to see the time spent on different tasks across a job - both for keeping track of ongoing projects, but also to plan resourcing and costs for the next time. It's useful to be able to mark parts of a job as 'complete' before the full job is finished - this makes it easier to track which tasks still have to be finished, and makes sure that people are tracking time to the correct task within the job. Job templates are very useful to make sure the same set of tasks is added to each job automatically. Read full review Cons Some users might find the user interface a bit dull and un inspired We found the way to use multiple workspaces a bit confusing It takes quite a bit of planning to build a well organized workspace in order not to have way too many projects and tasks all over the place Read full review I would like to be able to colour code my clients, so I can see at a snapshot what projects staff are working on. I would like to be able to colour code staff holidays, public holidays so I can easily see what resources I have available. As an administrator, I can't see at a glance the actual time spent on a task work or comments a user has logged. It is very user-friendly. Takes a new employee an hour to start figuring out how the system works. That's an important factor. You don't want to encounter the issue where employees need a week to understand how the system works. For example,
, I tried using it for a week and I still don't understand the complicated layout. Asana has a simple interface. Once you see it, you get it type of program.

I haven't had to use their support so I can't rate it. The fact that I haven't needed them reflects the ease of use of the product. I would recommend that any new users schedule a complete demo of the product to ensure that they are using it to it's fullest (there's a lot of useful features).

I like how extensive the capabilities are for Asana. With other softwares it seems there are many things lacking. I feel like Asana is also a very user friendly platform and aesthetically pleasing which is important in a modern office. We have many young people entering our workspace and it is important to have software that is ahead of the times in functionality and efficiency.

Deltek TrafficLIVE was the pre-existing system when I joined the company. When we decided to purchase a new system, we considered a number of options such as
PSA, Oracle NetSuite & Mavenlink. We decided to go ahead with
PSA because we felt that as a package, it provided all the functionality we need against its competitors. It had far more functionality than TrafficLIVE and was more suited to the scale of our business.

Read full review Return on Investment Productivity - Most of all, it allows me to be more productive and have a good sense of where I am with projects and deadlines. Easy to use - I can make the most of my time to get up (and stay) up and running. Project coordination - Allows me to assign tasks to my interns and communicate directly within the platform to keep the work train moving. Read full review Much more clarity as to how much time each different type of brief should take to complete as we can back reference as to how long it took last season. It has lead to better customer service. We can visibly demonstrate where we are with jobs and who has been assigned. In the past verbally confirming the different stages did not always convince the project leaders that they were being given the actual real time. From the Studio users point of view it has empowered them to manage their time more efficiently. If they receive a request to move onto another job their calendars can be reviewed to see if they are available or not. Read full review
