The battery on the Jabra was bad. Once the battery gets low, and you get a warning that it is getting low you have seconds to plug it in. And I mean seconds. And once the battery has gone, and plug it in, not only does it take ages to recharge, it also takes ages to get volume …

I usually use community apps and websites. I operate multiple channels and audio rooms and that's where Cisco Headsets helps me out w.r.t the hardware part. My audio-rooms have become more engaging and my webinars are clear when I pre-record them. Even when live, everything …

Chose Cisco Headsets
I have personal experience with a few different headsets. So I think I can compare and have more to say about headsets.
Chose Cisco Headsets
Before the 900 series, the options for us were Plantronics UC series or sometime Jabra, however with the 980 Cisco Headsets we did switch to have all in one unified ecosystem as we do use Webex app, meetings and devices. With the 900 series they do stand out in the …
Chose Cisco Headsets
I have used headsets from all over - SteelSeries Razor Logitech Audio Technica.
The Cisco Headsets get the job done. They may not all have the quality of the 980s but if I need a headset for a call center (what we mainly use them for) the Ciscos are at the top of the list.
Chose Cisco Headsets
We selected Cisco headsets because of our long-term existing partnership with Cisco, something we value. But that being said, there are competitor headsets that I've seen at the same price that offer far more functionality, which I guess could be improved in the Cisco headsets.
Chose Cisco Headsets
In comparison to the other products evaluated, the overall administrative and end user experience of the Cisco Headsets is superior. Cisco Headsets are built for use not exclusively, but with intention, on being used in conjunction with Cisco desk phones or applications. I have …

They are the best in the market. Cisco devices have been leading in the market with their quality and design for years.
Chose Cisco Headsets
Cisco Headsets provide a very seamless experience for day-to-day communication with their high-quality sound, customization, and comfort compared to Zabra. In my company, we use different Cisco tools for communication so their integration with Cisco Headsets provides additional …
Chose Cisco Headsets
Cisco products are better quality, also integrates with the platforms. Also offers a big model range to choose from.
Chose Cisco Headsets
I've used Plantronics headsets in the past. The Cisco 700 blows it away with call/voice clarity, range, battery, and ease of connection.
Chose Cisco Headsets
Because these products were bought in bulk, I assume by the thousands, we did not have a chance to evaluate other options.
Chose Cisco Headsets
I searched alot through the google and I read alot of reviews for this product. At the end I decided to buy this type of headset becuase of the good reviews. Also the pros of this product won the cons of that and honestly it was a right choice of mine.
Chose Cisco Headsets
Key advantages for the Cisco Headset 700 series include simplicity of connections (no special adapter cables needed), long battery life, and general performance for the price point. Integration with the rest of Cisco's Webex eco-system (the Webex app, and Webex Control Hub) …
Chose Cisco Headsets
It was my first headset from Cisco to test and to recommend the customers instead of going with other vendors.
Chose Cisco Headsets
In terms of noise cancellation and audio quality, there are few headsets which come close to (or even surpass) cisco Headset but in terms of functionality and compatibility, cisco Headset 700 series perform much better. Cisco comes with high security and authentication features …
Chose Cisco Headsets
Cisco Headset 700 Series has exceptional sound quality, the other headphones were good as well but of course price matters and nothing compared to Cisco Headset 700 Series.
Chose Cisco Headsets
It is wireless and provides mobilization, long talk time is very good, and filters out external sound well, while in other headphones the ambient sound can go to the distant person we are talking to, 700 is very good in this regard.
Chose Cisco Headsets
The build quality for the Jabra and Poly headsets was poor. Unfortunately, the Cisco headset didn't outperform them in that aspect.
Chose Cisco Headsets
noise cancellation and interoperability with other Cisco devices or video conference software
Chose Cisco Headsets
I have not used any other headset before this one.

Since COVID we have downsized office, so now we have a smaller office with the same amount of people in it. So 10am Monday when everybody is on a call, it is very loud in the office and people complain that other headphones pick up too much background noise. The Cisco Headsets seem to pick up a lot less background noise... thank you and well done.

Pros
Cisco
  • Cancel the noise side of things. You can't hear anything in the background. I quite often talk really loud because I can't hear myself talking and it's comfortable. They are really comfortable. We've got the wireless ones and they just sit so comfortably on your head. Amazing.

Cons
Cisco
  • Being able to adjust the sound profiles from places other than a phone app
  • Make it so the USB wireless dongle is reliable
  • The touch controls on the outside don't always seem to work reliably the ones on the back work just fine

Usability
Cisco
I have yet to find a use case where the 730 is not appropriate. The audio quality and active noise cancellation capabilities are excellent, and the portability puts it above many alternatives.

Cisco
Too expensive and too heavy and too uncomfortable. It just didn't deliver the experience that we thought we would get based on the price. I can get the same features, for cheaper, with a more comfortable headset from another vendor. So overall this one just never got put on the final list.

My audio-rooms have become more engaging and my webinars are clear when I pre-record them. Even when live, everything seems to work fine. Earlier I was using another vendor's headsets but I had problem with the mic however with Cisco Headsets, my modulation part is going on quite well and I think that I'll also give a positive review about the product in my IT teams internal survey.

Cisco
  • Superior quality has enhanced overall experience of meeting and calls
  • High compability and Ability to connect to wide range of devices have increased ease of working
  • Decent battery life and quick-charge is desirable for long calls
  • Pairing fails sometimes and requires multiple tries which is time consuming
  • Unintentional unmuting/muting during client call can cause major issues. There is requirement for a smart mute feature
