Gfi Systems
When a company wants a single platform that handles all security scanning and evaluation. I would also suggest to a small to medium-sized company that wants a patch management and security vulnerability tool that isn't going to break the bank.

Gfi Systems
  • Their agentless patch management could offer realtime status of when a patch fails, or completes.
  • Their 3rd party patching inventory could be larger.
  • Patches that are released should be vetted prior to release unless its a critical or important patch.

Onfleet
Onfleet is usable and provides sufficient training material, however it's very complex and the software has some nuances that can only be learned with time. Operating with multiple regions or areas can become cluttered and hard to navigate. More customization of appearance, features, etc. would help usability and prevent irrelevant information or features from being shown.

Support Rating
Gfi Systems
The Support zteam for GFI was with us all the way through, and I believe that they had the best support team of all the products that we use and/or tested.

Onfleet
Onfleet has given great support and worked with our organization when we're trying to figure out a solution or work through a glitch. Their team seems small, personable, and laid-back. Sometimes there is a delay/wait after contacting support, but the answers are always thorough and the problems are usually solved.

Alternatives Considered
Gfi Systems
Of the two others in the list that we compared to GFI offers the same capabilities that the other two do but that it's also a security suite for the same price and product. The other two offer everything that GFI does but for a higher cost. Ivanti had a live update on the status of patch deployments which is something we wanted. Qualis does not offer agentless patching or scanning. We use Qualis for other purposes so it was considered.

Onfleet
Onfleet has become the chosen software for managing in-house delivery operations as a fleet management solution. Onfleet is also used by couriers and delivery service providers (DSPs), in addition to in-house fleets. Couriers appreciate having Onfleet as their secret weapon while on the road because it is a driver-first software firm with over 1,000 5-star reviews in both the Apple App and Google Play Stores. Onfleet comes with a number of capabilities that enable DSPs to run highly scalable and technologically sophisticated delivery operations out of the box. Take a look at some of the companies who have used Onfleet and what they have to say about it:MetroSpeedy\sNancy Korayim, CEO Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens are all markets. Bikers, cars, vans, and Speedys are examples of vehicles. Verticals: Pharmacy, meal packages, laundry, groceries, catering, retail, veterinary

Return on Investment
Gfi Systems
  • GFI was on par with other patching software but offered more tools. In that, it was a great value.
  • we chose a different software that was more inline with our needs, as we didn't need everything that GFI offered. GFI was our runner up.
  • GFI gets the job done, there is no question about that. I would suggest any company to at least continue with a POC.
