Lenovo ThinkSystem ST Series is a tower server series, so [you don't need] to stock [several] servers or make clusters just for the space they need. In this case, [it] is better to evaluate the SR series. For small business customers, it is perfect; it is a very silent server and is very upgradable, so the small business can grow with it.

In a lab environment and for power users looking for server-related operating system compatibility but without using an actual rack server layout, works great. As a primary workstation for power users works great as well.

Alternatives Considered
Lenovo
Well, the essential difference is the form of the server. Lenovo ThinkSystem ST Series is a tower server series.
We use it with business customers that don't have big racks. The server is usually located in dedicated cooled rooms, or.. in some situations, also in the office with the other pcs. We use this server series in professional studies or shops. We have sold only the SR50 and the SR250.
For bigger requests, we usually switch series, but we prefer the SR Series for rackmount.
