Lobby Track vs. Slido

Especially where there are many visitors just one has to scan their identity and if the user had already registered it will automatically create a visitor badge No such scenario which I can think of where this was not appropriate.

Slido is great to use for live meetings, whether in person or via video conference; we mostly use this for Zoom meetings. You can use the different features at different times in your meeting: I love to start our All Hands meetings with a word cloud or a poll of some kind, and as people are joining via zoom it gets people feeling excited and connected even before we've started. It also gives us something fun to talk about while we're waiting for everyone to arrive and for the meeting to start. You can do a poll halfway through to keep people engaged, and then a poll at the end to see how you did, or maybe use the Q&A to see what questions come up without having the awkward zoom silence when you ask if anyone has any questions. I don't think this is helpful in smaller meetings, where people likely feel more comfortable interacting directly and asking questions verbally.

• Easy for event attendees to access thanks to the intuitive event code system.

• Published API and/or an automated way of loading data to the database (it's not difficult but could be automated).
• Updating layout of printed labels is not very intuitive (but we only have to do it rarely).

• A chat feature is required especially when using with Webex Events so that attendees only have one app to communicate with event hosts and panelists - currently they use slido app on phones to answer polls etc but have to chat to panelists via Webex webinars / events

The communication I've had directly from Slido was very professional and sets an excellent impression for the tone of the company.

A vendor who we purchased other services from initially recommended Lobby Track when they learned we didn't have an automated system. We still use Lobby Track but no longer work with that vendor. In the 8 years since we started with Lobby Track, we have looked at other systems but none have the automated email notification features (even systems purportedly targeted at schools) and that's a killer feature for us.

I haven't evaluated other competitors, as I have seen Slido in action at an event and I was immediately hooked. That being said, I should bee looking at Slido's competitors, just to do my due diligence and ensure I'm familiar with the market landscape. I'm satisfied so far with what Slido's offering.

• Did not use it for my business, but rather as a user. Worked great, will implement in my business when we need guest management software.

• It helps us keep participants' attention during online workshops, which can be long and tiring.
• Slido is a lightweight – it doesn't take forever to load – and intuitive tool, which has been encouraging user participation.
• The learning curve of the tool is very low, which does not discourage users.
