Pega is a very nice tool for when we need to deal with data coming from different sources that need to be connected and used collectively. Additionally, having an easy-to-use interface makes it ideal for building decision flow in a simple manner that can still take advance decisions for 1:1 communication.

As we are mainly a roofing company, this program is very well suited to our needs working with insurance companies. More than anything else, we use it for supplementing for roofing code items after a full roof replacement has been performed. It is not so well suited for small repairs we quote for siding or even roof repairs

We have not used any other software other than Xactimate at this time. We feel it is the most widely used software product by insurance companies and they also continue to try and improve their software regularly. Most recently, I have found out they are working towards integration of (I may be using the wrong terms for this...) photographic/scanning measurements just auto populating into the sketch window. Even the auto population of line items with other software integration would almost eliminate the need to take physical measurements in the future and drastically reduce the time it takes to generate a claim report.
