we use multiple [Oracle Cloud Infrastructure] compute instances, block volumes, object storage, VCN aggressively for our multiple customers. Many of the customers have already moved their DC to [Oracle Cloud Infrastructure], also a few of them uses [Oracle Cloud Infrastructure] as their DR solution.
  • love the oci console , its very simple to use than before.
  • oci rewards system is pretty interesting.
  • oci security much better than other OEM's.
  • Though the navigation has been simplified a lot I believe it can be simplified more just like AWS.
  • cost details analysis gets delayed sometimes. This needs to settle.

Datacenter and Disaster recovery solution where dc is on-premise and DR resides in [Oracle Cloud Infrastucture]. A perfect example [that] provides scalability, CAPEX model for DR infra. There was a time when Cloud computing used to mean convenient, but slow. But With [Oracle Cloud Infrastructure], all that has changed. Oracle’s next-generation solution offers bare-metal servers that reliably provide extreme performance that fully supports real-time processing, massive datasets, and high input/output operations per second (IOPS).
  • Due to the Covid situation, it made it very easy for many of our customers to operate hassle-free in terms of connectivity.
  • Covid showed cloud is the only way to handle such situations
  • Covid aided customer to adapt cloud technology more aggresively
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's scalability has been instrumental in meeting our business objectives effectively. With OCI's flexible infrastructure solutions, we can dynamically adjust computing resources based on demand fluctuations. This scalability ensures that we can handle increased workloads during peak times without overprovisioning resources, thus optimizing costs and aligning with our goal of operational efficiency. Additionally, OCI's agility allows us to adapt quickly to changing market conditions, supporting our business objectives of staying responsive and competitive in our industry.
Both EC2 and [Oracle Cloud Infrastructure] compute instances are great. But if I have to choose one of them I will go for [Oracle Cloud Infrastructure] because of its user-friendliness. I prefer [Oracle Cloud Infrastructure] object storage over Amazon S3 because of oracle's robust security.

We use OCI as a means of Storage and also help with managing our MySQL databases. It allows us to run a number of containers depending on our database requirements. We also use the monitoring services for tracking performance and any alarms raised. It is useful for metrics and statistics, as well as using the mointoring service to log analyticsfor auditing purposes.

Great for when unknown amounts of storage required. Makes it simple to manage your database infrastructure. It is also well suited for monitoring. Whether this be checking containers, having alarms setup for various alerts, Reviewing the performance of the Infrastructur, Providing logs for auditing purposes. Furthermore it provides a wide range of access controls to restrict account access and authorization which is important for security.

Performs well at benchmarks runs. Had no customer complaints about performance relating to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. We have not noticed any slow down compared to other cloud systems we have used in the past. The monitoring offered by OCI is what really shines this as a product and this allows us to see the performance and adjust our database & container requirements as needed
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure has a great number Customization Options of which we use only a few. These options provide flexibility when setting up our containers and also when analysis our infrastructure (for example if we need more or less containers), however this does increase the complexity for ease of use especially with new staff, but the benefits it provides; greater reliablity and monitoring, help to reduce our risks.
OCI was the ideal place for our MySQL database and storage solutions due to customer requirements. One of the primary reasons we selected Oracle Cloud Infrastructure was due to its great monitoring abilities. It allows us to do extensive log analysis for auditing purposes, view the performance and see (where if atall there are any issues). It allows us to also reveal helpful stats and metrics for presentations.
