We use Wunderlist to coordinate checklists, to-do's, needed documents, as well as staying connected in what different team members are responsible for contributing to our team goals.
  • Collaborative lists.
  • Notifications.
  • Document sharing would be lovely.
  • Different OS has different update experiences.
This is well suited for a multi-person team that can collaborate and coordinate materials, items, to-do lists in any given scenario. For us in particular, especially with field trips, we use this to make sure everything is accounted for before leaving campus with students.

I mostly use it to keep me organized and help accomplish goals. When I had a management team I used it with them to assign and complete goals and seeing the master to-do list. It also helped us share ideas and effectively distribute responsibility. The huge problem is caused was when I ended our professional relationship, somehow the master list was deleted and nobody, not even the app notified until it was too late! I lost so much data and important info and wished there was a way it would have been backed up. It was all gone and I lost so much time and hard work.
  • Simple layout.
  • Easy to share and add others.
  • Wish it had a backup so to-do lists weren't deleted.
  • Wish it would notify all parties if a list is deleted with a restoring option.
Great for keeping organized and accomplishing day-to-day tasks. It's great for prioritizing and creating goal lists. It's great for even those who just use it for grocery shopping and using it for simple food recipes even.

It's probably less appropriate for multiple parties who have the option of deleting the list within one click. As mentioned before several important things could be lost.

I work in network marketing so personally I love using Wunderlist to organize and check off tasks I need to do for my business, such as reaching out to prospects and making connections. Wunderlist helps me to stay organized.
  • Organizes important business tasks.
  • Easy to use with a great app.
  • Helps me stay focused and productive.
  • Sometimes it can take a while to synchronize.
  • It would be nice to be able to duplicate lists.
Wunderlist is great if you need to make a focused list of tasks to complete and check off. In my business, we have income-producing activities we try to complete each day and Wunderlist helps me organize that.

We use Wunderlist as a reminder system for nonessential work products. It helps remove some of the administrative tasks from our main input system and sets up something separate and easier to use for mundane tasks. We use it all together as an organization. We all have access to it.
  • Inputting entries - It is very straightforward to enter data.
  • Categories - Very easy to add categories.
  • Easy to maneuver data inside the app.
  • Notifications could be improved - Sometimes they are missed.
  • The homepage should be able to be custom.
  • Some more options for integration.
Wunderlist is great for things such as scheduling simple tasks for the office like, for example, purchasing paper or buying supplies. Also, reminders for non-essential tasks such as calling back a vendor or things of that nature. It is less suited to work as a fully functioning calendar/reminder system for important aspects of your job duties.

Wunderlist is used to keep my organization on the same page with tasks and projects. It's a vital part of our day-to-day operations - it's the first and last thing I look at each day. Wunderlist has a great combination of simplicity and the ability to create subtasks, which is generally something you only find with expensive task lists.
  • Reminding you of what is due, when.
  • Syncs across devices and platforms.
  • It's free.
  • The interface could use a refresh, it's a bit dated looking.
  • I worry that Microsoft buying the company will eventually result in it being shut down.
  • Integration of the iOS calendar.
I have a lot of repeating tasks that I have to complete daily, and Wunderlist does a great job at handling those. Also, creating projects and lists inside them is very easy, and I'm able to use it on both my desktop and phone, as well as my iPad, so my to-do list goes everywhere with me.

We use Wunderlist in our organization to track necessary building and tool maintenance items. This includes everything from filter replacements to fire extinguisher checks. We also track items that need to be purchased. This way, anyone can add to the list and anyone can remove from it as items are purchased. There are only a few involved with the list so it is manageable.
  • Wunderlist retains information that has been checked off. It is easy to uncheck the item as it is needed on the list again.
  • Wunderlist works very well for home and business use.
  • You can share different lists with different people and get alerts as items are changed.
  • If we could sort the list then that would be incredibly helpful.
  • It would be really nice if you could have multiple fields for one line item so you could sort. For example, when remodeling the office we needed certain items done in certain rooms. We listed them by room then by task (ex. Breakroom - Need Trashcan). It was hard searching through the long list. If we could have sorted all the breakroom items together then it would have helped.
Wunderlist is well suited for individual or group use. It also works wonderfully for business and personal use. The ability to share lists and allow others to modify them helps when creating lists of items that need to be done. You can create lists by category or project then have all the tasks listed within it.

I use it personally; I don't use it with my organization. In fact, I wasn't aware until now that it could be a business application. I found it on the Android App Store while looking for some sort of shopping list tool for my family.
  • Clean UI
  • Cloud sync with multiple users
  • Notification to all users when a task is completed
  • The "Inbox" is unneccessary and clutters the simplicity of the app. It should just have lists and nothing else.
  • Sometimes the default screen on the mobile app is a list that I don't use.
  • It would be nice to add more granular priority levels rather than just a star.
I love it primarily for family shopping lists (both my wife and I have the app). It syncs in the cloud and we both see a live version of the list. This is very helpful; once, we were shopping at the exact same time at different stores. It actually prevented us from both buying the same things because I was seeing live updates as she was checking off items and vice-versa.
On the business use side, I could definitely see this as a platform for team to-do lists or a place where a team can brainstorm and collect little ideas. The simplicity of the interface makes it easy to use for all kinds of lists.

We decided to use Wunderlist as a way for our company to collaborate on current projects and streamline communication. It makes it easy to manage deadlines and group projects as well as people involved in tasks
  • Simplicity of use
  • Project process and visibility of progress
  • communication between users
Wunderlist is great for small groups to collaborate on projects and manage time spent on tasks. I can't speak to it's use in a large scale deployment but it worked great for my needs.

My experience with Wunderlist has only been through our Marketing department. We use it to keep on track with our projects and be able to share what we are working on with other employees. It's great to be able to pull up our lists when we are not at our workstations.
  • The user interface is extremely easy to navigate.
  • Using the application, and going from desktop to mobile, had no hiccups.
  • The ability to share your lists with others is extremely helpful.
  • I wish there were options to mark tasks at a percentage of being done. Visually represented with a timeline/bar graph/ticker would be helpful.
  • It would be nice to have different colored flagging options.
  • I'd like to be able to update the background photo to be more personalized.
Wunderlist is well suited for anyone that wants to stay on task for a project in their life. Something as simple as keeping a grocery list organized between a couple is made even simpler with Wunderlist. I'd say it's less appropriate for projects that require a large amount of tracking detail.

Task Management - Task are divided among multiple peers ranging from developers, designers, backend/frontend Engineers, product owners etc.
Time Management- Each task can be associated with an estimate of deliverables associated with it, helping keep track of time in a representable manner,
Priority Management - You can categorize task based on the priority they hold.
  • Cross Platform Support - You can create task on one device and access it on the other which includes cross platform support like iphone and mac as well.
  • Mac app support - It gives a beautiful mac apps as well along with iOS app.
  • Management app
  • Its all done and dusted- From one of the recent tweets from the founder of the wunderlist, it is likely to be taken down and replaced by one of the apps for a tech giant.
  • Improvements would have been faster APIs, better syncing
  • Role management - this feature would have been great where there will be permissions for actions based on the user priveleges

A colleague and I use Wunderlist as a simple to-do list that can be shared between us since I work remotely and he is usually not at his desk. We decided to try Wunderlist a number of years ago because we needed a simple tool that was able to automatically sync tasks between both of our phones. It's not used company-wide, but we began using it between the two of us about four years ago.
  • It's very easy and intuitive to use.
  • The user interface is streamlined and the perfect size for reading and using.
  • You can have multiple lists so that you can have a separate to-do list for each project.
  • The sync functionality is not very reliable.
  • The web interface is not any different than the mobile app's UI.
  • It's not easy to see which tasks have extra information/notes attached.
Wunderlist is well suited if you need an easy-to-use list app that can be shared with multiple people. Due to the reliability issues, we do not use this for critical tasks or tasks that need to have collaboration involved, such as being able to create comments and attach files. Because of the sync issues, I also wouldn't use this as a personal list tracker where you aren't sharing it with anyone because sometimes you can create a task but then it will disappear for a while and "may" come back once the sync issues were resolved. Honestly, I think this app is probably more on the level of being a grocery list rather than a corporate project tracker.

Wunderlist is in use by several of my clients to track progress and tasks on many different projects. Primarily it’s being used by divisions or departments within each company to focus on their specific tasks. For example I have a team that’s using it to track website fixes. Site users in the company can add fixes to Wunderlist and the web team makes the fixes a marks them as complete.
  • Syncs well.
  • Multi-platform.
  • Can include web links.
  • The big thing is that Microsoft is supposed to be sun setting Wunderlist, or at least was supposed to years ago. I’m hesitant to recommend it if that’s still on the radar.
  • Notification overload. I don’t need an email every time an item is added to Wunderlist. Send me a daily digest or weekly for done projects.
It works well for any shared or individual to-do lists. For individual use though, why bother? If you’re on a MacOS the built-in reminders app does the same thing with more power.

I have a team of about 10 people within an organization of about 150 people. We use Wunderlist to collaborate on tasks, projects, and lists. One user can create a list (say a list of people we need to reach out to for the first time) and others can contribute, leave comments, add tasks, etc. This makes teamwork much easier. Often times in a meeting, we will just open up our Wunderlist and go through the tasks we've collaborated on. Our team communicates and tracks work frequently on the app.
  • Organizing. It is very easy to organize your notes and different lists. It really streamlines my thoughts. I never open Wunderlist and am confused about my notes.
  • Sharing. Sharing my notes or lists with others and adding them to different projects is very simple and easy. We've never had an issue.
  • Loads fast. Your information can be pulled up quickly in Wunderlist. This is essential as I'll be in a meeting and have to pull up a reminder quickly.
  • Creating new lists on the mobile app can be complicated, more so than it needs to be.
  • I never use the scheduled reminder feature, yet the app seems to really want me to. If it's unneeded it should be easy to remove.
  • Deleting tasks and comments can be confusing.
I first started using Wunderlist simply for tasks management and reminders. What surprised me though is how often I'll use it for taking notes in a meeting. It's very handy to quickly write down a reminder or note that I want to be able to return to later without having to search for it too much. I can even quickly add someone else to the list if the reminder is an assignment for them.

I use Wunderlist to keep track of both large and small tasks. For a long time, I kept my trusty notepad with a running list of to-do's, ready to jot down new items as they were thrown at me. That system had a number of fail points. Wunderlist allows me to have my list available no matter where I am. I have also used it to share lists with other users to keep projects in sync and everyone on the same page with what needs to be done.
  • Wunderlist is great for organizing tasks. The ability to create lists of lists, assign due dates, reminders, repeating tasks, etc makes Wunderlist very valuable.
  • Wunderlist is full featured, but very intuitive. For being so very capable, it's not complicated.
  • Having my Wunderlist content available via the desktop app, mobile app, or the web is a life-saver.
  • I am not sure what the future holds for Wunderlist. Microsoft purchased Wunderlist a few years ago and, while it's still around, there have been plans to shut it down or replace it with a new Microsoft branded solution.
  • A competitor "Things 3" has a nice category called "Anytime" which moves things out of the inbox, but doesn't give them a due date. This is a nice area I wish Wunderlist had. There are a number of tasks I would like to get to when I have spare time, and this is a great way to handle that.
Wunderlist is great for task-based lists (including sub-lists). If you value lists and organizing those lists, Wunderlist is fantastic. The pricing is awesome and I love it for individual task management and limited small-team task management.
It is not great for my complex team project management. There is no real commenting system, so the complexity is limited there.

I use it as a business owner to keep on top of tasks that I need to take care of. Adding a task to Wunderlist (and then integrating into my Google Calendar) puts the task in quick access and always keeps it where I can be sure to not overlook it. I find this to be extremely helpful as if I had to always refer to Wunderlist directly, I would not do it as often as I look at my calendar.
  • Task sent to the calendar.
  • Sends reminders daily and per task quickly and easily.
  • Easy and intuitive interface that allows you to quickly add your task without having to worry about figuring out how to navigate the tool.
  • Having an intuitive "smart" feature so if we put a task that says Wednesday at 9 a.m. it automatically adds that day/time.
  • It would be nice also if there were the option to add more details when you are first creating the list item instead of having to create it and then update the details for any associated files or notes.
Wunderlist is great when you want to just quickly create a new list item and group those lists into a matching category. This helps in creating a full list of tasks required in order to complete a project. Since it seems to lack the ability to add more detail easily when first creating the list item you sometimes have to create your listed items and then return to the list to add additional notes and details.

I mostly use it to manage my personal tasks. I have them organized according to lists and then folders. Because Wunderlist’s web app is seamlessly integrated with Time Doctor (our own time tracking software), it greatly helps me monitor and improve my workflow.
  • Cross-platform app. Can be used on a mobile or desktop device.
  • Has all the essential features of a to-do list app.
  • Sub-tasks and folders.
  • Collaboration.
  • Their Chrome extension could use a little more updated.
  • No support for the product anymore since the Microsoft purchased it.
Wunderlist suits people who depend on to-do lists to manage their day to day tasks but the default macOS, iOS, or Android reminders don’t suit their ‘advanced’ needs.

We currently use Wunderlist to keep tabs on different departments in real time. Each person adds items that are needed from various stores. We also add tasks related to departments and are able to see who completes the item in the list. It is miraculous to be at a store and simultaneously see a new or already purchased item so we don't duplicate work and make sure we have what is needed asap. It keeps everyone in the loop.
  • Create lists and place them in categories. If you need more than one list for an organization or department that can help a lot with simplicity.
  • Synchronization of lists with others. You are able to add people to any list and they can see exactly what is there. Seamless.
  • Easy interface, user friendly. It doesn't take a bunch of tutorial videos to learn to use.
  • Would love if you could connect Wunderlist to Google Tasks, that integration would be lovely.
  • Would also love a progress bar for something you might be working on so it could be also used as a task identifier and tracker.
  • Would love if there was a public link to share a particular list so you could post on social media, email, or text; this way, people could choose a list item or help fill the list items for you one time but you don't have to share the list with people permanently.
Wunderlist is well-suited:
  • When you are packing.
  • When sharing purchasing needs with multiple people in organization. It helps the person shopping know what everyone needs.
  • When creating tasks for a group of people but not assigned specifically - it's really who is able to complete it first.

We use Wunderlist to help track tasks that need to be completed. These tasks are sort of a daily scheduling tool to track things that are on a running to-do list. Helps to stay organized and be reminded of pending tasks.
  • Wunderlist works great as a daily to-do scheduler. I have made categories for tasks based on days of the week. Things that aren't accomplished on Monday's list can be shifted into Tuesday's list. This means you can stay on top of the entirety of tasks to be accomplished.
  • Wunderlist syncs with the mobile app so you can create and complete tasks on the go. This is helpful to stay organized.
  • Wunderlist has a good depth of task customizability. You can tag tasks that are similar, as well as add due dates to them. Notes can also be taken, and you can add files to tasks.
  • Wunderlist is simple to learn and requires zero training. For smaller projects it's an ideal workflow.
  • Wunderlist works best as a single-user tool. You can add other users to lists, but it's not a great multi-user project managing software. It doesn't organize itself in a way that, even from a UI standpoint, makes sense for project management on a larger scope.
  • Wunderlist lacks a calendar feature to help plan ahead, furthering its use for smaller projects, or single-user interface.
Wunderlist is best for single-user or small projects requiring input and management of only 1-3 users. Projects larger in scope likely need a big interface. It works extremely well for planning a daily to-do list for personal use. I've found it essential in keeping track of what little items I need to knock off the list each day, but it's not so good for plotting lots of bigger tasks.

This is our favorite to-do app! Our entire team uses it. Although we're using other project management tools in order to run our business, Wunderlist is used for small tasks that would fall through the cracks without it. For example, action items from meetings, quick tasks that come up during the day etc.
  • Segmenting your to-do's in separate lists
  • Having notes with each to-do
  • It has notifications feature as well as due date
  • I'd love to see integrations between Wunderlist and tools like Slack or Drive
It's such a simple and effective tool! If you need an app to safely store your To-do's and make sure you stay on top of things, this is it. You can divide tasks lists into folders (like "home" and "business"), share the lists with co-workers, set notifications, even mark items as a priority. It's great for smaller, day-to-day tasks but if you need something to manage a bigger project or a team, you should look into more robust project management tools. Although this is a great app, it cannot replace tools like TeamWork, Basecamp etc. But they work great together!

Wunderlist is a wonderful checklist app that helps our organization stay organized through shared lists and resources. Our project managers can assign out tasks and this app lets deadlines and reminders be set. Since we implemented this software we can communicate to other employees with push reminders and projects are no longer falling behind because of a missed action item.
  • Multi-user checklist communication
  • Push mobile notifications
  • Clean interface and easy to learn style
  • I instinctually push the Plus button to start a new list but instead, it pulls up just a task. To start a new list the user must scroll to the bottom of their lists.
  • Additional "help" or tutorial information.
  • More social media connection capabilities.
A project manager has items from different business sectors that all need to be on time so the project isn't delayed. They can set up tasks with deadline dates, send out the invitation to the individual, and they can have reminders set to turn in their work. If a project is delayed it can easily be fixed to match the new dates.

Wunderlist is being used by myself to help keep things organized. Its used to make sure tasks that need to be done get done on time. With so much to do on a daily basis new items come in that can push out older items leaving to things being forgotten about. Wunderlist is being used to help with that issue.
  • Tracking of to do items with deadlines and reminders
  • Sync across all my devices and computers so no matter where I am I have my list.
  • Ability to create different lists to separate to do items
  • Interface can feel dated
  • Customize background I want to clean it up
It is a solid to do management system, looked at a number of different solutions and Wunderlist was the best fit for me. It did what it needed, has reminders, synced across all my computers and phone so I always had my task list no matter where I was or what I was using.

My training department uses Wunderlist to organize our developed, developing, and prospective training projects from beginning to end. We are able to manage client communication, collaborative training building, and research. Wunderlist allows us to share across accounts and devices, from PCs to smartphones, making it accessible at work and off-site at trainings or in other places. Prior to using Wunderlist, we relied on Excel spreadsheets that were hard to keep up-to-date.
  • Uploading and saving documents related to project management
  • Sharing across accounts and platforms
  • Integration with calendar and other applications
  • Better interface for viewing subtasks
  • Better communication between users
Wunderlist is great for managing large projects across a team, managing complex tasks, and organizing tasks across a team. It is less suited for individuals, smaller projects, or projects that require unique software file uploads (like ArcGIS, Emme, SPSS, etc). But for projects built in common software programs, this is a great solution.

I personally use Wunderlist and have been an active user for around 4 years. It's the only to-do list app that really helps me complete my tasks, both professional and personal. It's very easy-to-use and you can sync between all your devices - Macbook, iPhone, iPad and so on. I love how simple and also flexible it is.
  • Creating different lists and tasks, both for personal and professional purposes. It's very easy and also gives a lot of options when creating a task.
  • Setting up due dates and reminders. It helps me complete my tasks.
  • Wunderlist design and overall user experience is great, I love it.
  • Maybe would be great to add some integrations - e.g. with Trello, Slack and other similar tools which can boost the value of Wunderlist even more.
It's a great task management tool both for professional and personal life. You can use it to set due dates for your tasks and get reminders whenever you want. I think it's great for small teams and for personal use. It's probably not suitable for larger companies.

I currently use Wunderlist to help me manage tasks, both repeating and unique. My department is the primary user of this application but it has been used to some degree by a few other departmental leaders as needed. It has been very helpful in working with my team to have a way to clearly list our tasks, while also assigning somebody to the task and a time when it is due. It has been very helpful to be able to attach files, leave comments, add sub-tasks, and have a section under each task for notes. The primary problems it addresses is lack of clarity on tasks (knowing due dates and person responsible) and cutting down the number of on-going email threads. Specifically, with the latter, it's been great to have the ability to have conversations within each task under comments with users and not have to go through the process of finding the proper email thread.
  • Clarity on needed tasks to be done.
  • Clarity on who is being assigned to each task.
  • Clarity on the time frame each task is due.
  • The ability to add additional steps under each task with sub-tasks.
  • Viewing more than one task at a time.
  • Email forwarding tasks - sometimes can be buggy and not always smooth.
  • Option to show more detail on a task without clicking task - example: being able to see attachment without clicking on task to view.
Wunderlist is a fantastic task management system, not the best project management system. For a long time, I tried to use Wunderlist to plan large events with multiple users and it wasn't as effective. But, once we simplified our desired outcome to accomplishing tasks that repeat or are unique to a given work-week, we had much more success. Now my assistant can manage her weekly tasks and give feedback through this app. I can also add tasks, assign them and see what is being accomplished.

Wunderlist is a great app to manage tasks. In particular, in our company, it's used to assign tasks to employees among the different ongoing projects. The ease of use and simple interphase makes it a great app to fastly know what's the next thing you need to achieve. It really helped us to prevent the overlap of more than one person doing the same thing and to cover all the tasks that are needed to be done on time.
  • It's great to separate tasks in different subjects.
  • Having "sub-tasks" in every project is a great feature.
  • It's really easy to use and to set deadlines, and also to share with other people.
  • It has different ways to arrange the lists of tasks which is a more useful feature than what it might seem.
  • Even though the UI is simple, I think it has room for improvement to get a little more modern.
  • It would be great if you could expand the tasks to see the subtasks it has.
I think Wunderlist is a great app to take track of what you need to do, and it gives you the versatility to have it integrated with your personal tasks, which is great when you need to see the big picture of what needs to be done. It's easy to use, easy to learn and really easy to share, improving your productivity to the top!
