Overall Satisfaction with Wunderlist

I use Wunderlist to keep track of both large and small tasks. For a long time, I kept my trusty notepad with a running list of to-do's, ready to jot down new items as they were thrown at me. That system had a number of fail points. Wunderlist allows me to have my list available no matter where I am. I have also used it to share lists with other users to keep projects in sync and everyone on the same page with what needs to be done.
  • Wunderlist is great for organizing tasks. The ability to create lists of lists, assign due dates, reminders, repeating tasks, etc makes Wunderlist very valuable.
  • Wunderlist is full featured, but very intuitive. For being so very capable, it's not complicated.
  • Having my Wunderlist content available via the desktop app, mobile app, or the web is a life-saver.
  • I am not sure what the future holds for Wunderlist. Microsoft purchased Wunderlist a few years ago and, while it's still around, there have been plans to shut it down or replace it with a new Microsoft branded solution.
  • A competitor "Things 3" has a nice category called "Anytime" which moves things out of the inbox, but doesn't give them a due date. This is a nice area I wish Wunderlist had. There are a number of tasks I would like to get to when I have spare time, and this is a great way to handle that.
  • Wunderlist has helped me to stay on task and not let things slip out of my memory. This is good for client relationships, achieving due dates, etc.
Trello and Wunderlist have different features. I like Trello more for projects and Wunderlist more for straight-forward task lists. I use Wunderlist every day, I only use Trello when working a project that calls for it.
Wunderlist is great for task-based lists (including sub-lists). If you value lists and organizing those lists, Wunderlist is fantastic. The pricing is awesome and I love it for individual task management and limited small-team task management.
It is not great for my complex team project management. There is no real commenting system, so the complexity is limited there.
