Overall Satisfaction with Absorb LMS

We use Absorb LMS as our online learning platform for clergy and laity leaders throughout our conference. Our conference area consists of 52 counties in West Virginia and one county in Maryland. There are over 900 churches and we currently have over 1,300 learners registered on our platform. Absorb allows us to provide training and leadership development to our learners we would never be able to do otherwise. We save the time and expense of in-person meetings, and our learners are able to take the courses on their schedule and not ours.

  • Setting up a new course is very easy to do and does not take very much time.
  • The online learning courses for Admins needs to be updated.
  • We were able to move our clergy ethics and safe sanctuary training and screening online this year for the first time with our Absorb LMS platform. In the past this would take weeks of all-day meetings around our conference, with thousands of dollars spent on travel, meals, payroll, etc.

The ability for our clergy and laity leaders to engage with learning on their own schedule has enabled us to expand our leadership development from a focus on events to a more ongoing culture. For example, we can ask learners to complete a course as pre-work to in-person workshop. At the end of the events, we are now able to give clear next steps which often include an online course or two.
I wish there was a rating above 10! The support we have received from Absorb over the past three years has been amazing. Most of our help desk tickets have been resolved the same day, and many of them within an hour. Every single person we have dealt with for help has gone above and beyond to be sure we had the information we needed to fix any issues or correct anything we had done incorrectly.

Our Client Success Manager, Sherrie L., has been amazing! She has worked with us very closely to help new departments and new admins get set up and gives of her time and experience to all. We do not have anyone working full time on our online platform, so it has been very important to us to have an LMS that does not require a lot of daily interaction. This is definitely the case with Absorb. Our admins are able to set up a course quickly, and our learners are able to get right to taking the courses they want. When we have run into questions or minor issues (usually cased by us) the help desk at Absorb has been incredible. I don't think we have ever had a ticket go over 24 hours. In fact, most of them have been solved in an hour or two. Partnering with Absorb LMS has been a wise decision for our organization. One we would make again today. I cannot recommend Absorb highly enough. They have helped us move our learning into the 21st century.
