Overall Satisfaction with Adaptive Suite

Currently only the finance department is using Adaptive as we are still in the process of implementing. Soon, however it will be used organization wide. It addresses the problems of needing financial data in customized formats and reported on quickly.
  • Reporting - it's easy to use and very easy to customize for different info various stakeholders may need.
  • Automating budget process based on various formulas, drivers, etc.
  • Ease of building scenarios and comparing scenarios through reporting.
  • Org structure - have a field for a code and a name separately, similarly to how the GL accounts work - this will eliminate the need for mapping.
  • Ability to auto sync org structure info from outside GL software.
  • Ease of reporting
  • More timely reporting
  • Ability to forecast in future
Adaptive is great for budgeting and forecasting and playing with various scenarios through different budget versions. It is also great for variance reporting. It is not so great for companies that may be making many changes to their organization structure frequently as it does get manual having to sync this to Adaptive.
