Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat

There are a number of PDF documents we use for fliers and to let people know about upcoming events. We use Adobe Acrobat on a regular basis to make changes or updates that don't necessarily require a complete redesign. There are also times that we use it when we are working on other bulletins and documents for employees.
  • Allows editing for PDF documents
  • Allows you to create new PDFs from merged documents
  • Provides tools to add new fields on PDFs
  • Complex PDFs can be challenging to edit when they have multiple fields
  • It takes a lot of guesswork and trial/error to learn how to use the various features
  • Simple changes to PDFs
  • Less need to use a Creative team for every project
  • Integration with Other Systems
  • Allows us to make changes to PDFs on the fly without needing to involved the graphic design team for every update
  • Makes it more convenient and efficient to update PDFs by merging documents together as needed
I haven't had any direct interaction to the security and compliance standards from Adobe Acrobat. I can say that Adobe Acrobat has made it simpler to update PDFs. I appreciate that the normally don't allow many updates to keep documents secure, but small text changes can now easily be made with Adobe Acrobat.

One of the best time to use Adobe Acrobat is to make small changes to PDFs. We have some templates that we can use for fliers announcing recurring events. However, if there are changes that need to be made to text headers or to add more information, you can do it with Adobe Acrobat that goes beyond a normal template.
