Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat
Used to edit business documents upon demand when in PDF format. Also use for exporting PDF documents to other formats when required. I use Acrobat on at least a daily basis for this. Acrobat is also used to edit scanned documents when the individual text in the scan needs to be identified.
- Recognising text in scanned documents
- Handling images in scanned documents
- Exporting to other formats
- When deleting elements of the document it could be easier to reposition other elements.
- Compression could be a bit better although it is pretty good.
- Text recognition and editing
- Compression
- Export.
- Ease of Use
As a small business we did not want to have to spend extra on training or have a long learning period by staff who may not be IT staff. As a result we needed intuitive software that could be quickly picked up with minimum fuss. Acrobat fitted that purpose very well.
- Has allowed us to remove a lengthy correction process by giving us a clean and accurate method to edit PDF
- Easy highlighting on invoices straight from our ERP system has been a direct benefit, thanks to ease of use it can be done by sales staff.
- Digital signing has directly reduced costs
Adobe's emphasis on security gives us confidence when using the product that we can do so safely. Data breaches are a huge concern for any business and Adobe's practices are important to us as a result.
