Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat DC

We utilize Adobe to - create capital calls, quarterly updates, and other client documents - create and sign organizational documents such as operating agreements, sale and purchase documents, LOIs, etc - send out notices of deal closing and other informational statements.
  • Creates clean documents that are either all text or text and photos/logos.
  • Certify signatures on documents.
  • Fill and sign is extremely easy to use.
  • Editing an existing document is fairly easy.
  • Adobe will randomly shut down or close unexpectedly.
  • Teams are not very useful for small organizations that need multiple signatures in one account.
  • Customer service is hard to reach/ long hold times.
  • Fill and Sign.
  • Edit documents.
  • Print Production.
  • Certifying signatures.
  • Fill and sign has saved us time in editing and executing documents - we don't have to send every document through a signature portal for signatures.
  • Capital Calls and other investor-facing documents look like they were created by marketing professionals, though we created them ourselves - so we've saved money in that regard.
  • Making simple edits to documents has saved us time from having to recreate entire documents and reports. The ability to choose one word or number to edit without it affecting the entire paragraph is extremely useful.
Because 97% of the time it works without error and as expected. The only reason it's not 10/10 is that sometimes it will freeze, shut down, or glitch when adding signatures to documents. While there is some learning curve to Adobe, it's easy to overcome and most of its features quickly become second nature.
I've never even thought about an Adobe security breach or what that would look like. So that's a good sign. There's nothing about Adobe that would make me concerned security-wise. It all seems very secure and I've never heard of a breach happening.

Adobe is well suited for us because we often need to quickly insert signatures on multiple documents, which can be completed within a couple minutes. It's extremely useful for creating client facing documents that look clean and professional. It's often easier to edit a document in Adobe than it is in Word, and creating a PDF from a word document (and vice versa) is quite easy. We use Adobe for all legal/corporate documents, and it works well for those scenarios. There's definitely a learning curve for Adobe. Editing items like text alignment, fonts, etc on more "creative" documents takes some time to figure out if that's not something you do often. Also switching a document back and forth from a PDF to a Word can create issues with the document, but I'm not sure that's specifically an Adobe problem.
