Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am an instructional designer and use Adobe Captivate Prime to build instructional modules for clients who are looking for a self-paced and self-checking online training solution. My clients use these modules for a variety of purposes, some for internal training and some for the services they provide for their clients. I love that Captivate Prime leaves the LMS management to someone else, as it allows my small business to focus on development and leaves the technical aspects of integration to the pros.

Adobe Captivate Prime is great for companies that need to create self-paced learning courses for their employees or clients. It's optimal for companies who don't want to handle the server management on their own and/or need a cloud-based solution that works cross-platform.

Captivate Prime is less suited for companies who want to keep their training system server in-house and/or who operate with limited internet connectivity.
