Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Captivate Prime
I started using Adobe Captivate Prime last year in order to create course content for students in synchronous and asynchronous learning models. Currently I also use it to create online workshops for teachers. So far it has helped create interactive materials for both teachers and students alike. We are currently reviewing it to see if it will continue to be used next school year.
- AI-based personalization--this is very useful and time-saving when creating content.
- Gamification--it keeps users engaged and competitive.
- Social learning--users can interact in discussions and learn from each other.
- The price is a little high compared to other LMS
- It would be beneficial to have an automatic spell-check in multiple languages since I rely on Grammarly and this is often inaccurate.
- We have been relying Zoom this year and I don't see any integration for it.
- It has increased students' engagement.
- Its simplistic layout makes it very user friendly.
- I like the networking part of it, as it brings online and in-person learners together; this has certainly brought a positive impact to the course.
The Adobe support community is great! I like the fact that they have updated "conversations" with trending topics and an active community of users who are learning together. When you ask a question, someone is usually prompt to reply and solve an issue you may come across. The forum also has related communities, which is a big plus.
After using Adobe Captivate Prime and Articulate 360, I have to say they are very similar in its layout and simplicity. Adobe Captivate Prime is easy to use and a great teaching tool. For me, it has been a great tool and easy to record lessons with it. It really makes the learning experience for my students a simple and yet rewarding one.
