Overall Satisfaction with Adobe PhotoShop

Adobe PhotoShop is being used by our company's design team to create mockups and social posts to display our products. I run a drop-shipping hat business and to display our products, we use Adobe PhotoShop and create mockups that represent the design in real life. We also use Adobe PhotoShop to create attractive and aesthetically appealing social posts, which attract customers.

Adobe PhotoShop has solved the issue of not having high quality designs and product displays, which we now do thanks to Adobe PhotoShop.
  • Great variety of functions and tools
  • Highly intuitive user interface
  • Versatile; can be used for both personal use and professional use
  • It's worth the huge price tag
  • It is confusing and difficult to use for beginners
  • Plans that Adobe offers are expensive
  • Requires a decent amount of RAM to run Adobe PhotoShop smoothly
  • It has too many tools, so not all of them will be used
  • The icons are too small, which makes it look very complex
  • Many useful tools to design posts and mockups
  • Remove backgrounds professionally
  • Ability to download templates and edit them in Adobe PhotoShop
  • The image filters help make our posts look way better than they should
  • We are recognized for using professional software
  • It has increased our budget due to the increased pricing
  • The features outweigh the pricing
  • We now have access to professional editing software anytime, anywhere
GIMP is a free open-source software almost similar to Adobe PhotoShop. However, GIMP lacks some features that Adobe PhotoShop has, also GIMP is not recognized for professional use hence we opted to invest in Adobe PhotoShop, where we get both the features and professional recognition.

Overall, GIMP wasn't too far behind Adobe PhotoShop in our analysis. Before getting Adobe PhotoShop, we were using GIMP. So we are in a place to analyze both software, therefore we recommend Adobe PhotoShop only for photo editing businesses or ones that have photos as a main aspect their business, but for everyone else, GIMP is the best choice.

Do you think Adobe PhotoShop delivers good value for the price?

No

Are you happy with Adobe PhotoShop's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe PhotoShop live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Adobe PhotoShop go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe PhotoShop again?

Yes

Adobe Photoshop is great for businesses that are willing to make the investment. It should only be purchased if graphic design or photo editing is one of the main aspects of the company. The same thing applies to personal users looking to start freelancing or start a business. If your work requires a designing/editing software, then it's a must because Adobe apps are recognized by everyone and if your business doesn't use a professional software like Adobe PhotoShop, you might find it difficult to compete in the market, where people always look for the best.

But if your business just needs a photo editing software for minor work, consider an open-source software instead, because Adobe PhotoShop wouldn't be worth the investment.
