Managing a Non-Profit CRM with Airtable
Overall Satisfaction with Airtable
For Love of the Lake is a non-profit organization whose volunteers support programs to preserve and enhance White Rock Lake Park. We organize regular clean-up activities, tree planting events, and raise money needed to fund improvements to White Rock Lake Park. We use Airtable to manage all of our contacts. That includes staff, donors, volunteers, etc. Airtable allowed us to consolidate multiple spreadsheets that didn't talk to each other into one easy-to-use database. As the IT person, I like that I can show non-technical people what the database looks like with no coding required.
Pros
- Easy-to-use interface
- Affordable pricing model
- Great customer support
Cons
- I would like to be able to highlight fields
- Add conditional logic to form views
- Barcode scanning so we could use it to track inventory
- Airtable has decreased our volunteer check-in time
- Reduced our IT bill for database technology
- Improved collaboration among staff
We did not evaluate any other database vendors, but Airtable is much easier to use and maintain than a bunch of Google Spreadsheets.
