Overall Satisfaction with Alteryx

Our organization has data in several different systems. Alteryx does an excellent job of connecting our various systems, blending the data, and formatting the data in a way our users need it. I use Alteryx to send daily dashboard reports, exception reports, parse website data, and anything else we have data related. Alteryx does an exceptional job formatting the data exactly how we need it.
  • Connecting to practically any data source.
  • Easy to user interface.
  • Excellent community and support.
  • Regular updates.
  • It would be helpful to have a favorites workflow section or be able to pin often used workflows in Designer.
  • It would be nice to have one button to cache all incoming connections in designer.
  • The desktop automation application needs an update.
  • Being able to create a workflow or a string of events to format or extract data saves us time.
  • Some of our tasks are repetitive, and being able to automate those takes ensures the final product is accurate.
The Alteryx interface is easier to use than Tableau Preps. The Alteryx options are easier to find and configure.

If you spend time formatting, blending, or extracting data, it's worthwhile to see if Alteryx would be a good fit for your organization. In my opinion, Alteryx is a good fit if you have 20 or 20000 employees in your company. The time Alteryx saves us more and pays for itself the more we use it.

Alteryx Support

Technical issues seem to take a few days to get resolved. Alteryx support is a trouble ticket and waits for a response. However, the online community is one of the best. Chances are someone else has experienced your problem and has provided a few examples of how to correct what you need help with.

Using Alteryx

The Alteryx interface is very easy to use and intuitive in where to find options. There are a few small areas where Alteryx can improve but 95% of what Alteryx offers in Desktop Designer are more than anyone can ask for.
