Use Cases and Deployment Scope

To save information on customers without having to deal with tables and columns, instead, you just pull the data from the person you want and continue. Like if a person is using a social network instead of having a table with a bunch of information we can locate customers easily.

Pros and Cons

Scalability

Scalability is excellent! Not something that you have to worry about at all. Especially with all the tools and features you can use along side Dynamo DB. It would be hard to bring down, so I would say that the sky is the limit. Just have to make sure we keep all info secure.

Performance

Is US-East-1? I have had no issues, maybe because of where I am located. But everything is beyond capable of what you need from Dynamo DB. It is more accessible and quicker to pull data from than any other database as a service out there. That’s what I would say.

Alternatives Considered

Azure SQL Database and Google Cloud SQL

Dynamo DB is definitely more efficient and able to be configured easier than both. I just would say you have to know what you are doing with SQL as well. Because if you don’t know anything about SQL, you could always use Dynamo DB to help store your big data.

Likelihood to Recommend

Where Dynamo DB is suited for companies that do not need to have specific requirements or regulations for their data. Because, especially with SQL databases, everything has to be precise. So the same goes for less appropriate is that there are those needs that have to be met. Then I would go with MySQL.
