Overall Satisfaction with ApptioOne

Primarily using CCM module to manage and optimize cloud costs. Reporting App TCO and details behind app cost. Beginning to support App Rationalization efforts.
  • Detailed cloud cost info with easy drill down capability
  • Cost trending information to understand monthly and daily trending
  • The CCM module does not always calculate cloud RI usage correctly.
  • Would like better functionality to switch between cloud usage metrics and cost data. Discount rate on cloud recently increased, resulting in lower cost, but with higher utilization.
  • Continue investing in the CCM product, we like it, feels like we are being pushed to cloudability.
Not yet using the budget and forecasting capabilities.
Using data link to streamline data ingestion, particularly helpful with large data sets. Although we have had some issues with Azure data in one isolated instance.
The sorting and filtering capabilities when viewing data are helpful, I often wish we had them in other applications.

We use premier support and could not have achieved the results we have seen without their support. The support team is able to teach us how to customize and perform other tasks and also develop reports and make changes for us. As we are a small team, this is like having an Apptio expert on staff to support our needs. Other experts are brought in as needed to explore new capabilities or to help us evolve our strategy.
