Apricot Core

Overall Satisfaction with Apricot by Social Solutions

Case management and grant reporting. Use of Tier 1 and 2 forms for client and activity tracking. Use reports for pulling data for required grant reporting.
  • Training tools.
  • Customer service (chat).
  • Adaptable to needs.
  • Importing data is very confusing.
  • Linking forms is confusing.
  • Apricot database blueprint/handout for orgs to use when creating their own.
  • Consistent grant awarding.
  • Good relationships with grant writers.
  • More funding opportunities.
  • Visibility of organization on flyers/board meetings.
We are in the beginning stages of seeing this happen. Still relatively new to this database but currently hope to use it for delivery of a couple of our major programs.
It has helped with showing factual data to board members and to grant writers who are interested in working with us.
I like that Apricot is more qualitative in nature and it also is the place for all case management needs. SPSS is much more qualitative and requires more coding.

Apricot is good for adaptability and customizing your reporting needs. It may be less appropriate if you want to do quantitative analysis.
