Overall Satisfaction with Ascentis HR
Human Resources use Ascentis HR for HRMS, Recruiting,
Whole company uses Ascentis HR for Performance and Development, Evaluations, Training modules
We are currently trying to encourage frequent access to My Performance and Development - not easy.
- I like the coffee break trainings. Why did you stop?
- The ability to be flexible and have input into the product.
- Webinars - many topics - very relevant
- The learning curve is steep, and could not find step by step training for easy repetitive tasks
- The Reports function has a lot to improve. Try and fail to get the result that you need. zero training!
- Benefits tabs, can't tell when a benefit (i.e. life coverage 2 x salary) changes if it is automatic from a change in compensation. Really hard to re-create amounts and timeline.
- We have had Ascentis for about 6 years - an improvement . Still not using it to its potential. It is a focus, but work gets in the way. If training both within HR and for company wide were available it would be easier to integrate more fully into our organization. I am having to come up with my own training, which is not the focus of my job. I would prefer something more cookie cutter, that I can present and modify to our specifics.
Ok, the above input box was impossible!
Prior experience - Infinite Campus - School district HRIS
Visually the same, basic. IC has many and varied permutations, ability to restrict access according to job requirements. Easier to reset administrator passwords. Currently a problem being experienced with Ascentis. Very frequent.
Yes, problems with electronic feed to Cigna. Ascentis thought they were sending it, and Cigna couldn't find it. Worked out. Thanks to Heather Thornton. She did not let it drop.
