Overall Satisfaction with Ascentis HR
Ascentis has become our all in one HRIS system. We use multi-platforms allowing all departments in HR to navigate across departments effectively. The usage of an all in one system has allowed us to streamline processes to not only include HR, but benefits, payroll and performance management. The ability to limit and set access has allowed HR to provide ownership to supervisors allowing for a more employee focused tracking system as well as aided in building an effective partnership with management and employees.
Pros
- When building our platforms our implementation specialist Rebecca K. was exceptional. The service, dedication, and support was beyond amazing. She worked with us as if we were her only client, making us feel we were important and our needs and understanding mattered.
- The team at Ascentis ensured all managers were not only trained on their individual platforms but crossed trained on all platforms available. The training was designed to fit each individual training styles and needs verses fit all training. This allowed each manager to become an expert on their platform and the ability to cross train other managers and train their own staff.
Cons
- The instruction manual could be made simple allowing anyone, even someone who has never used the system the ability to download and complete the task without having to contact Ascentis support.
- Ascentis has allowed us to have a one source HRIS system, removing the need to for multi-systems as previously had prior to joining Ascentis. We have not only reduced cost by having an all in one but created stream line systems that have benefited both the employees and management.
Compared to ADP Workforce Now, Ascentis offers a few more platform ability and tracking options.
During the implementation of the benefits platform, our specialist Rebecca K. provided exceptional service, worked to create processed requested by our vendors, etc., with ease and result, kept me calm and not frustrated with the extras. She was quick to motivate and assist where she could. The project would not have been a success without her.

Using Ascentis HR
Our entire HR team uses the platform to include recruitment, compliance, benefits, and employee relations. Additionally, the payroll team utilizes. The platform allows the team to see all updates, changes, and status from cross functions in real time. This allows for a better employee experience as it creates an more responsive environment.
3 - In house we have three team members who are trained to manage all areas of the system, cross function. This allows for the group to have a experienced back-up when needed as well as a trouble shooter. The ability to create and analyze aides the departments to move forward quickly and consistently.
- HR Administration- tracking, maintenance, updates, of employee records. The ability to see the full picture of the employee profile in one place allows the team to effective manage the employee needs.
- Benefits Enrollment- the ability to house all benefits plans, open and track enrollment, make error changes in real time, and effectively track enrollment numbers.
