Overall Satisfaction with Birst

Birst will be used by the whole organization as our enterprise data warehouse tool.
  • We will begin training on Birst next week and begin Blueprint the following week.
  • Birst Support will be our SI on the project.
  • Expect the major advantage will be one source of the Truth and getting organization to understand visualization.
  • Majority of our users are in China. We need to ensure that the speed is acceptable so the users do not get discouraged about the application.
  • Importing Excel data and combining it with data in the Master Space will be very powerful and hopefully will be rolled out soon.
  • SAP Business Objects
Selected Birst due to TCO and ease of use.
We have not implemented Birst yet, but I am expecting very successful results.
We will start with marketing and sales data, then move to operations, and finally finance.

Using Birst

2 - We are currently implementing our first sprint that will go live over the weekend. We have had 5 Pulse people involved in the implementation, but the long term plan is to have 2 people supporting Birst from IT. We will have Super Users from the different functional areas, but that total number has not been defined.
