Overall Satisfaction with BlackLine
We use blackline to manage month end clients tasks as well as account recs. Looking to leverage it for amortization schedules for use in building journal entries. Blackline gives us a centralized location and quick view of where the close process stands at any point during close. It also serves as a central location for the auditors to access recons, meaning less interruption for us.
- Task tracking
- Central location for auditors to access info
- Recon templates to track amortization
- Would like to be notified when tasks are ready for review
- Need more visibility into what templates are available and how they work best
- Would like to have a way to force preparers to review system certified recons at least 2x a year
- Improved visibility into tasks and recons
- Decreased interruptions from auditors
- Allowed us to move away from excel recons
