Overall Satisfaction with BlueJeans

We use it across the organization whenever we need to do sales meetings with potential prospects, or we need to meet any relevant person outside our company.

Pros

  • Accessibility
  • Very good quality of connection
  • Provide all features required for a meeting

Cons

  • Can't find a feature that lets you draw during the meeting
  • Requires an app to be used if you want to do a computer communication
  • It reduced technical difficulties when using video conference, compared to other systems
The possibility to use a mobile phone number as an alternative was necessary for some of the clients. Usually, BlueJeans performs very well, even with different users together in different locals, so is more reliable than other competitors. We have also been using it for a while so we don't find any reason for changing the product, aside from cost.
It's easy to use, nothing to complain about. The overall layout and component disposition are neat and tidy, but I think the App component is not in the right place. I barely have noticed it and it's like hiding very important features. It should be posted in the front of the screen or in a more reachable place.
BlueJeans is suited for any business meeting or important meeting. It's able to provide sufficient quality and support sufficient viewers for most of the cases. I would say, it's still difficult for some older users to use it or guide them to download the application, as this may require some skills that they can have trouble with.

Using BlueJeans

3 - All executives use this a sole meeting room. We are just a startup so we don't need several rooms and all departments shares the same channel.
We mostly us it for the sales part whenever we need to pitch our product. Especially if we need to sell oversee. Additionally other important business meeting with stakeholder could be relevant to us
I don't think any particular skill is required. We just need anyone that is able to run a computer and install an application. In our startup we all have sufficient technical expertize to proceed on our on to install and use it.
  • Sales
  • Business meeting
  • Investors meeting
  • hr candidate interview
  • internal meeting
  • daily standup
It's a good product, but Google Meet is becoming more and more interesting. It probably will provide the same functionalities of Bluejeans with better integration to the google calendar. As of now is not equal to it anyway so some functions like whiteboard are not yet present, also they don't have many international number

Evaluating BlueJeans and Competitors

No - Google Meet.
  • Price
  • Product Features
  • Product Usability
  • Prior Experience with the Product
The price is low and considering the reliability and the features, especially the possibility to make other people join oversee, even with phone, that is a great deal to us. Since we don't have many meeting, we also share the same channel among all the department using only one user so it is even less expensive
I don't think i would change the evaluation. I would probably will look again at how easy is to access and how many time the customer face any trouble to access it, which is the most problematic things happening in Skype or other platform. Then I will look closely to the price

BlueJeans Implementation

No, it was as simply as it is
Change management was minimal
  • sometime on mobile it could become difficult to install and use

BlueJeans Training

Yes, not much different from other products so it wasn't much difficult

Configuring BlueJeans

Maybe there are many configuration patterns, but doesn't feel like it's very well organized so it appears a bit messy
I think it's just as it is
No - there is no facility to customize the interface
No - the product does not support adding custom code
No, maybe i just added some additional app

BlueJeans Support

We never had to to deal with the support team
No - We would just change software
I never had to ask for support, so it's even better

Using BlueJeans

ProsCons
Like to use
Relatively simple
Easy to use
Technical support not required
Consistent
Quick to learn
Feel confident using
Familiar
Cumbersome
  • video call
  • mute/pause with space bar
  • whiteboard, never noticed, too much click required

BlueJeans Reliability

We tested with many other users
I never had to complain about the availability
Most of the time i praised the performances of it

Integrating BlueJeans

  • Google calendar
I couldn't find a better way to do it rather than copy and past manually from the google calendar
