Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use BlueJeans for all of our employees to connect via audio and video when collaborating among team members and across the organization. It brings remote people together and allows for people to easily connect and share ideas. BlueJeans is easy to setup and the stability and ease of use connection is very good.

Pros and Cons

Ease of connection for everyone to attend meetings.
The audio quality is very good.
The video feed and the ability to share computer screens are extremely helpful.

We have audio feedback issue at times when we use conference room audio rather than an individual's laptop.
When there is a chat entry maybe have the icon blink or somehow make it more apparent.
Audio still has issues when more than one person talks at the same time.

Return on Investment

BlueJeans allows for live audio and video meetings almost instantly rather than people typing over IM chats.

Alternatives Considered

Zoom and Cisco Webex Meetings

BlueJeans is just as good if not better than other products I have used for audio and video conferencing. I am not sure if any one is truly better than another at this point.

Likelihood to Recommend

When I use BlueJeans I rarely have any issues. It is great when communicating with my team overseas as well as people on different floors of the same building. It handles a large number of people and locations without any problems. There is a delay in the video, so it may not be best for standup presentations and audience interaction. I mostly use it for screen sharing and thus real-time response is not always necessary.
