Overall Satisfaction with BlueJeans
BlueJeans is used across our entire organization. One of our major clients has had a deep BlueJeans integration for the past 5 years, so many of our team were daily users while communicating with that client. We recently migrated the rest of our company from RingCentral Meetings to BlueJeans to consolidate, and also invested in some BlueJeans room systems to improve meeting room call quality and experience.
- Room system quality is very high.
- Calendar integration with Google works well.
- Onboarding new users is pretty straightforward.
- BlueJeans struggles to dynamically adapt call quality when the internet connection becomes unstable. We have lots of call quality and dropped call issues on a regular basis.
- We would like to see more than 9 video tiles on large group calls. Unfortunately, there's no way to do that, so you don't get to see most of the other people in the call.
- Room systems are a bit complex to set up and deploy. Nothing crazy, but definitely not plug-and-play for any non-IT employee to handle on their own.
- We have been able to meet with our clients who prefer VC over conference calls on their terms.
- Seeing the client helps immensely with reading body language and situations, and builds stronger relationships.
- With a recent shift to 100% remote work, we have been able to successfully host all-hands huddles in a virtual format to sustain internal communication efforts.
- Zoom, RingCentral Meetings and Google Hangouts Meet
BlueJeans definitely feels like the corporate/enterprise horse in this race, which is actually more complex than what our business wants and needs. But we chose it because our enterprise clients use it, and attending meetings hosted by them was a pretty bad experience when we were using other systems.
