Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce HCM

Dayforce is being used around our entire organization. Across 4 provinces and 11 locations.
Our biggest issue was tracking hours and time/overtime for our employees. We had manual time sheets and the time clocks have been a huge asset to our organization.

  • Record keeping
  • Vacation tracking
  • Implementation was not good.
  • More Canadian compliance knowledge among Ceridian employees
  • Project manager at Ceridian was not knowledgeable.
  • I would like to see Ceridian have a recognition that is tied to the compensation module.
  • The biggest impact I have seen is the power Dayforce has given our managers to manage their teams
  • The reduced calls to HR regarding vacation questions
  • Employees having access to their profile and the self service options has freed up our HR team's time
Dayforce has automated our payments to WSIB, CCP, Etc.
It has automated our payments to our RRSPs.
Scheduling has made a huge positive difference to our workforce. In our industry scheduling "was" manual and it was so hard to maintain but with Dayforce managers have access to their teams and availability of their employees. It has had a huge impact on our organization.
  • ADP
We switched from ADP to Ceridian. ADP was only payroll and even at that it didn't have the basic ability to track salary history.
Dayforce is great in a environment where where a company is struggling with or has very segmented record keeping.
I honestly don't believe there would be a scenario where Ceridian is not appropriate. Dayforce can help any company save time and manage their workforce.
