Our infrastructure is built around all Cisco Catalyst Switches. They allow us to deliver reliable cabled infrastructure in a predictable way. Distribution and access is easily deployed and scaled using Cisco Catalyst Switches. The varied product range provide the needed product depending on the location and need so it's a flexible product line.

- Perhaps a bit high cost on investment, but considering the life span they provide it's rather good
- Licensing model makes it a bit hard to predict cost over lifetime
Using Cisco Catalyst Switches we get a homegenous network for easy central administration and integration with our tool set. We also know that replacing a product series with another from Cisco always provide roughly the same form factor and physical requirements so we don't need to redesign our wiring closets which. Staying with one vendor makes all our integrations work and provide future proof management.
