Use Cases and Deployment Scope

My company uses CMiC for all its project management. This includes storing, saving, and editing/red-lining plans. Budget and production tracking. Entering and storing vehicle inspections, daily journals, meeting notes, and visitor logs. The company is also looking to switch from our current payroll system to the CMiC payroll system in order to combine as many operations into one system as possible.

Pros and Cons

Mobile App has a great UI
Web client is easy to use.
Forms can be created for any specific needs you might have.

Mobile app has issues connecting sometimes
No ability to use offline then upload when connection returns.
Limited number of drawings can be viewed on mobile app without searching.

Return on Investment

Once everyone is used to it, CMiC works well to keep everything in one place.
Takes a while to get used to, some things take longer than others.

Support Rating

With most of the issues that I have had, support has been helpful with what they could. Any outstanding issues were with CMiC and not their support.

If an entire project is being planned and tracked with CMiC Construction Platform, it works well to keep everything all in one place.

If multiple programs or software are used, I don't think CMiC is the best at working with other software such as Excel.
