Overall Satisfaction with Cofense PhishMe

Yes, it has enabled us to target users at the appropriate time instead of dumb broadcasting of mails over the off-hours/weekends, etc. In the case of the latter, when the employee gets back to work, they may never prioritize the simulation mail and it would have been a wasted effort. This feature has helped alleviate the problem.
Cofense products help us manage various malicious and phishing emails. It lets our users, the last line of defense, identify any malevolent emails that might have glided past our email filters and enables them to report it to Cofense, who, in turn, perform analysis to provide us with the outlook of my organization's email threat landscape.
  • Email analysis
  • Simulation of phishing emails
  • User awareness
  • Visibility on how the IOC contribution from my orgn. is being used across the ecosystem.
  • The simulation portal feels outdated.
  • The reporting part could be better.
  • Good value in terms of product functionality.
  • More expensive and could be made more competitive, which causes a bit of hassle in terms of budget/procurement, especially since comparative costing by other vendors is cheaper.
  • The product has helped us analyze and maintain a good risk posture in terms of the email threatscape.
Having this has enabled us to perform exercises that emulate the threats in the wild. This has given our staff a good perspective of what to expect as well as when to react and how to react. This has inspired a good level of confidence among our staff who now feel that they are better equipped against such threats.
Due to the nature of our requirements/organizational setup, we ended relying on Responsive Delivery more than the other features. This Responsive delivery has enabled us to send emails at the right time when the employee is actually at work instead of sending it over the off-hours or the weekends, during which the email may never be given priority when the employee gets back to work.
Yes, these are used extensively to measure our staff awareness and relevant capabilities which ultimately feeds into our risk management KRIs as well.
Cofense is more comprehensive in its offerings given that the field of email security and email-related staff awareness is their focus area, while for Cymulate, it is only a component of testing and nothing else. Hence, it was quite beneficial to use Cofense in that regard.

Do you think Cofense PhishMe delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Cofense PhishMe's feature set?

Yes

Did Cofense PhishMe live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Cofense PhishMe go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Cofense PhishMe again?

Yes

In conducting simulation-related activities, Cofense performs a very good job. Their support system to run the activity from planning to translating the content to local languages and the actual execution was quite good. These simulation exercises have been helpful in raising and maintaining awareness against phishing across our staff. The results also provide us with an insight into the "risky" behavior of certain staff who could be guided accordingly.
