Overall Satisfaction with Concur Travel and Expense
Our company used to work on Excel spreadsheets and submit our expense reports that way and Concur changed everyone's life. It is great and we can go back, save drafts and have our receipts and details all in one place. We also encouraged people to use the phone app and this is working very well as we can create and submit reports directly from our phone where we sometimes have our receipts that have been sent to our emails.

The Amercian Express product seemed pricy and not as modern as Concur. They also don't have the same reputation or popularity. Concur is by far THE product today to use for doing business expense reports. We like it so much that we are thinking about moving to the travel platform as well, but have not yet. We are using the AmEx one, that's why we looked into their tool for processing business expenses but we did not like it.
So far we have not integrated any other but we do have ADP RUN and we might work with Egencia for our travel needs and they use or integrate with Concur so that should help and make our like easier once we can integrate flights and hotels or car rentals. We are moving to ADP Workforce and it looks like they integrate with Concur as well so that would be great. We are still shopping and seeing what everyone else is using out there.
We are a growing company so as we grow and bring on new people in the team who will travel in their job, it is nice to have a tool to process business expense reports that is reliable and cannot crash or disappear. It allows us to save a ton of time too and frees our accountant who was spending 50% of her time on those business expense reports. Which is a great advantage for us.
Our employees love it, especially because we have the phone app. We also work with lots of clients and candidates and sometimes they use that app too so it makes things easier to also work with the same product. They are familiar with it and know what to expect in terms of validation and reimbursement timeframe. For managers, it is great to control a bit on our budget for travel that was getting a bit out of control where people were booking whatever they wanted. Now we have limits set on the app, so we cannot get reimbursed for more if we had a budget for a flight or a hotel or a meal.
