- Finding recommendations to improve search rankings is easy
- Exporting reports

- Limitations on how many metrics you can add per workspace. Should be unlimited.
- Date ranges for comparison reports is always one week. We'd like to be able to customize date ranges for reports.
- The biggest benefit we've seen from conductor is earning buy-in for SEO projects from senior leadership. Conductors reporting and competitive analysis was very telling and showed that we need to invest in this area.
Conductor's quality of data is very good as long as you filter out irrelevant search terms. When uploading a list of keywords to track make sure to review any recommended keywords they give you as some may not be relevant to your space. Once you get your data correct it can be very useful for setting up your strategy. You can learn about how customers are searching and start optimizing for the right keywords.
Conductor is a great platform for optimizing content. Unfortunately we have not been able to utilize the platform as much as I'd like in this area. We've been able to use it for keyword recommendations and improving existing page rankings, but have not used it yet to product organic content such as articles.
We evaluated BrightEdge against Conductor. While Conductor was more expensive, we chose them for ease of use in their platform and the additional filters to enable the user to drill into the most relevant keywords for optimization. Reports in Conductor are "board room ready" and required much less cleanup compared to the raw data exported from BrightEdge.
