Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)
We have used ConnectWise (screenconnect) over the last 4 years to provide remote support to our satellite sites as well as for providing us with a centralised way of remoting into our servers.
It has been massively valuable to us as it has saved on travel costs as previously we may have had to send a technician to the site.

Pros
- The ability to customise the client is great and the level of detail you can adjust goes beyond any other platform I have worked with.
- It's simple to use for both our ConnectWise technicians and our end users.
- Against other competitors, ConnectWise offers more features for way cheaper.
Cons
- [It's]Confusing having two separate accounts to log in into to manage our own personal portal and then another billing one.
- Sometimes it doesn't always work with some firewalls and we have to revert back to TeamViewer.
- Saved on travel costs by allowing technicians to resolve issues without driving to a site.
- Technicians have been able to fix problems out of hours where previously they would have had to wait for the site to open in the morning.
- Users feel more confident knowing that with one phone call they can get support.
- VNC and TeamViewer
- VNC - local use only.
- TeamViewer - not so good with customisation and a lot more money to purchase but does seem to get past firewalls where sometimes ConnectWise doesn't.
