Overall Satisfaction with DigitalPersona
We use DigitalPersona across the whole organization. It was first implemented to speed up user log in for computers locked when away from workstation. Many employees find it extremely useful for web site credentials. DigitalPersona integrates very well with most devices that have built in finger readers. Users find it easy to manage and use. IT has not had any issues with managing users in software.
- Website credentials management
- Speed up log in process.
- Cut down on account lockouts do to password error.
- Readers are a little expensive.
- A few users struggle with consistent performance. (Mostly due to skin condition. chapped, dry)
- Web credential updates need to be manually edited.
Integration with Microsoft Active Directory makes user management easier. No need to manage user separately, which can leads for more effort.
DigitalPersona's versatility allows it to support many use cases. This is valuable to any organization that needs to have multiple hardware option available and supported.
- Specific return on investment dollars can be difficult to quantify. User being able to log in quickly and securely helps productivity.
- Mitigating user log in errors and lockout also leads to more efficiency.
We use DigitalPersona for Windows sign in, IBMi login and web site sign in and credentials storage.
