We use it in our department to authenticate to computers and applications. It makes it much easier to switch between users on machines that are shared.
- Forces a log off and log on if the fingerprint scanned doesn't belong to the person currently authenticated to windows.
- Helps reduce mistyped passwords.
- Service could be improved. I almost always have to be bumped to engineering and I feel forgotten about.
- Announcements for updates are non-existent.
