Overall Satisfaction with DISCO Ediscovery

We've used it for doc review and productions. Most recently, we have started using Case Builder. It has been wonderfully fast to ingest and prepare the documents for attorney review.

Pros

  • Ingest
  • Tagging

  • Case Builder functions for depositions

Cons

  • Being able to force the system to import the documents in a specific order. Some clients pre-organize the documents a certain way, the same happens with opposing counsel productions.
  • To be able to generate an audit report of all completed work tasks done in a database. Especially since there is more than one administrator.
  • Organizing more the structure of the learning paths. It's a great system but, for me, I get lost. It could be that I am not navigating it properly.
I love DISCO university and all of the resources I can easily navigate to answer questions immediately or solve problems I encounter as I learn to use the program.

It's user-friendly and very intuitive. It has many capabilities that are out of the box, and it does not need to do any workaround. Also, there are many ways to do the same thing which is great when we are in a rush and how a user learns. Attorneys are loving the Case Builder function. I am happy that we can streamline processes and get to do more of what we love to do versus being bogged down by tedious steps.
