Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight

I am an individual user of Draftsight and I use it to update casino floor drawings that are imported into our casino marketing software.
  • Opens DWG files with ease.
  • Many useful tools.
  • Easy to navigate the UI.
  • Better print styles.
  • Certain functions are hard to locate.
  • Improved patterning.
  • The functionality and low cost has saved me a tremendous amount.
Draftsight has a lot more functionality/tools/options, a clean easy to navigate user interface, and is easy to learn.
Draftsight is a much more cost-effective replacement for AutoCad. Most functionality is available in the software and it is easy to use. There was a small learning curve to get used to the software. My specific use is to create and update casino floor maps. Creating banks of slot machines, adding labels, and adding/editing the attributes are the main functions I would use in my drawings. These basic functions are easy to use once you're familiar with the software.
