Overall Satisfaction with Dynatrace

Dynatrace is being used throughout our organization. We’re currently monitoring our on-prem applications with plans to deploy to our cloud-based applications. Dynatrace helped us consolidate our monitoring tool footprint as well as provided us with a single pane of glass view for all of our applications.

  • Root cause detection
  • Easy to triage issues
  • 95th percentile not available yet
  • Email integration needs improvement (for those who don’t have web hooks)
  • No auto update of Active gates (yet)
  • No built in auto rollback of oneagents. Must rely on a third party tool like puppet
  • Improves our MTTD

  • Improves the visibility of our applications, not only to the application teams, but to other teams as well
Easier to deploy. One agent vs multiple agents. Scales better, easier to implement with Azure.
If you’re looking to modernize your APM monitoring footprint and consolidate your tools. Dynatrace is the way to go.
